Snickers had a long, hard life giving pony rides for nearly three decades without much attention or care in return ― that is, until animal control stepped in and he was brought to Best Friends. At 32 years old, he’s completely blind in one eye and barely has any teeth left, so we can’t blame him for sometimes being a little ornery. He’s earned it. In his retirement, he enjoys meals of mushy pellets. (He can’t chew hay anymore.) He also likes slow walks along canyon trails with volunteers and hanging out with his pasture pals.
You can make Snickers’ golden years extra special by sponsoring him.
