We’ve never met a horse quite like Brussels Sprout. He’s small, feisty, and worships red dirt. This mustang is a natural at playing with his horsey friends, and he is slowly learning that human friends might be a-OK, too. When he first came to the Sanctuary, he was very afraid of halters and leads, and he didn’t like being touched anywhere beyond his head. But we’re delighted to say that he’s taking to a halter and even being led inside his pen, and he’s learning to enjoy scratches from his caregivers. Those are some big baby steps for this spirited horse.
