For Precious, loud purrs and long snuggles come as naturally as breathing, and if you didn’t know her past, it would be easy to think she’d known nothing but love her entire life. But the truth is Precious’ sweet side is simply too strong to be defeated by the unimaginable cruelty she’s faced. She was found matted and alone in an alley, with a BB in her right leg and a larger bullet in her chest that had fractured one of her ribs as well as her spine, leaving her partially paralyzed and incontinent. Here at the Sanctuary, she gets acupuncture and laser therapies and has trained caregivers to help her with all her special needs. And she’s finally enjoying all the love she missed out on.
