Autumn is constantly in motion, likes to explore, and is forever curious. After she arrived at the Sanctuary, her caregivers noticed that one of her back legs lacked strength and looked a little different. X-rays ruled out a fracture, so her veterinarians determined that muscle loss was the culprit. Before coming to Best Friends, Autumn had likely injured her leg and then spent too much time in a small enclosure without the room she needed to heal. To build up her strength, her caregivers developed a physical therapy routine. That, paired with playtime in the Sanctuary’s bunny park, has worked wonders for Autumn’s physical and mental health.
