Despite her name, Adored may not have always felt that way. Born into a home overcrowded with other cats, she’d never had much human interaction. So when she arrived at Best Friends, she was understandably pretty nervous. She’d hide among her feline friends and hiss or lash out in fear when a person came too close. But it turned out all Adored needed was time to relax, get comfortable, and learn humans are pretty good at scratching hard-to-reach spots (and giving treats).
